SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — A woman suffered a fall injury Friday afternoon at the WM Phoenix Open in Scottsdale.
Fire crews were called to TPC Scottsdale shortly after 3:30 p.m. after reports that someone had fallen at the 16th hole of the tournament. Video from the 16th hole shows a section of bleachers taped off and police in the area. Tournament officials said that the woman appeared to have fallen from the first level into the bleacher area on the north side of the 16th hole.
Scottsdale Fire officials say the department’s medic cart and bike team paramedics treated a woman who was taken to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.
