PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Cactus Candy Company has been in business since 1942 manufacturing jellies and candies in Phoenix, Arizona.
Since 1996 when Amelio Casciato bought the company, the family expanded operations to include manufacturing their own line of salsas, hot sauces, pasta sauces, BBQ sauces and dry seasoning packing. Over the past 28 years, Amelio C. Enterprises has also acquired more than 20 different brands that are produced in their facility, expanding their network of product offerings.
Desert fruits and cactus have been used as a food source for hundreds of years. The Prickly Pear Cactus Candy products are made from sun-drenched, ripe prickly pear cactus fruit indigenous to the Southwest region. The family says they assure you of the finest quality and flavor satisfaction of their candies, jellies and marmalades.
