LAS VEGAS (KVVU/Gray News) - Aaron Goodwin, the star of Ghost Adventures," has filed for divorce after his wife was accused of planning his murder.

Authorities said 32-year-old Victoria Lynn Goodwin was arrested on March 6 in Las Vegas after officers with the Florida Department of Corrections contacted police.

The officers revealed that inmate Grant Amato was using a prohibited cell phone to text the reality star’s wife.

According to an arrest report, Amato was in touch with another man they believed would carry out the murder.

Text messages between Victoria Goodwin and Amato would state that the two were “in love” and that her husband “would not accept the divorce.”

Aaron Goodwin’s filing on Wednesday noted that “there is no possibility of reconciliation between husband and wife.”

A hearing has not yet been set to address the divorce, but Victoria is due before a judge on March 25.
