Only comic book-inspired restaurant in US closes Phoenix location
PHOENIX (AZFamily) —Comic book fans will have one last chance to eat like a superhero. On Monday, the restaurant ComicX Phoenix announced it will be closing its doors on Sunday, Feb. 23.
The restaurant at Desert Ridge Marketplace was the only location in the United States. ComicX has 36 locations in Mexico.
ComicX is known for its superhero-themed food. The restaurant also features statues of comic book superheroes like the Hulk and Ironman or other characters like Yoda and the Simpsons.
