NAVAJO COUNTY, AZ (AZFamily) — A wide-eyed bird has a new reason to “hoot!”

On Friday, Navajo County Sheriff’s Deputies stepped in to help an injured owl found near the Navajo County Government Complex, located off of SR 77 in Holbrook.

The owl was taken from Holbrook to Show Low, where it is now receiving care from the Wild At Heart raptor rescue to hopefully make a full recovery and once again soar across the Arizona sky.
