Electrical overload possible cause of deadly RV fire in Bullhead City
BULLHEAD CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — Investigators are still working to determine the exact cause of a fire at Silver Creek RV Park in Bullhead City that left an elderly man dead late last week.
Fire crews responded to a structure fire on Goldrush Road at the Silver Creek RV Park around 12:30 p.m. last Friday.

When fire officials arrived, they found heavy black smoke and three RVs fully engulfed in flames. Crews ultimately gained control of the blaze, but two vehicles were also destroyed, and four nearby units sustained heat damage.
An elderly man was found dead inside one of the damaged RVs, while another man suffered possible smoke inhalation and was taken to a hospital. The victim’s name has not been released.
Investigators believe the fire started inside one RV and spread to others on either side. While the cause is still undetermined, the Bullhead City Fire Department says electrical overload is a possibility.
The Red Cross is assisting affected residents.
